The Graduate Programs in Biological Sciences at the University at Buffalo are designed to provide advanced training in flexible degree programs that are driven by students’ interests and career goals, all within a collegial, interactive atmosphere that fosters learning and enables new discoveries.
Doctor of Philosophy program provides training for students interested in taking leadership positions in academic institutions and/or the biotech industry.
Master of Science program provides research training for students who have not had previous research experience, and/or advanced instruction for those who wish to assume laboratory management positions.
Master of Arts program introduces students to advanced topics in biological sciences, preparing them for successful careers in health professions, education, and regulatory organizations
