Visit for Undergraduate Programs

The best way to learn more about our undergraduate programs is to visit us!  We are happy to offer informational sessions specifically designed for prospective high school and transfer students interested in the undergraduate programs our department has to offer. Parents and families are more than welcome to attend as well.

Schedule your Visit:

Please contact Ms. Vickie Searight to schedule a visit for one of the following days.

  • Friday, September 29th (2pm)
  • Friday, October 20th (4pm)
  • Friday, November 10th (11am)

 What to Expect:

Prospective students should come to 109 Cooke Hall, where you will be greeted by Biological Sciences staff members.  During your visit, you will have the opportunity to partake in a small group session with other visiting students and one of our distinguished faculty members.  The vast opportunities that await our undergraduate students will be discussed and we encourage you to ask questions.  If timing allows, we will also provide a tour of our teaching laboratories.

The Department of Biological Sciences is located in Cooke Hall on UB’s North Campus.  The Visiting UB page provides traveling directions to North Campus as well as campus maps.

We look forward to meeting you!
